Happy Birthday Brady

First a little apology on the delay...I have no excuse except I've been using any spare time I have to clean up the house/get rid of stuff/single handedly fill our DI trailer at the church to make room for the new baby :)

 

We celebrated Brady and Emily's 2nd birthdays with a little playdate with a few of their friends at the park. Best birthday party ever - the mom's talk and the kids play. We love the park!

 

 

 

Emily was all over her cupcake. Heck, anything tastes good after you bite a chunk out of the birthday candle :) Brady did some experimenting of his own....by taking a swig of the bubble mix. I'm getting a gagging reflex just writing about it.

Name

We still have no name for our soon to come little girl. Time is running out. Jon says it's my decision. If you've ever stood behind me at line at Dairy Queen or Cold Stone you know that I am the queen of indecisiveness. My book of 30,000 + baby names is too overwhelming. I don't want to be one of those people who have no name for their baby at the hospital despite the fact that they've have 9 months to prepare :) I'm considering putting up one of those voting polls on the blog. Anyone know how to do that?

Brady loves to sit (or lay) on the back porch with Ranger. I think they sit there and dream about the day when we'll have a real yard :)

Sometimes this is how I feel

Poor Brady!

We had a great day at the park yesterday, which got even better when a nice family and their Boxer dog showed up. While chasing the friendly dog (I think that will be our next dog) Brady and Emily discovered a mud puddle. Then the inevitable happened.....



15 baby wipes later Brady was semi-cleaned up and chilled in his diaper for the walk home. Thank goodness for our wierd heat waves that give us 80 degree days in November! P.S. Thank you to our personal paparazzi Heidi who captures these great moments for us!

Farm Days

This weekend Brady went to his cousins 2nd birthday party and he had so much fun. It was a barnyard theme, which is pretty easy to do when you pretty much live on one! All of the kids wore little cowboy hats and bandana things (don't know what they're called) and it was adorable. Brady had fun chasing the goats around, but his favorite part was when they brought the horse out for the kids to ride. He had so much fun and wasn't even scared a bit. When he was riding he kept saying "Wee-haw!" Thanks for the fun party Erin & Travis!
